We're launching a new category of designs over at
RetroRanger...we call it the Radio Graveyard. Through all my years in radio one thing that always astounded me was how radio management would make a format change and just toss away years of branding. As someone involved in programming and promotions, it was always a major bummer to see the hard efforts at community involvement (yes, bar promotions and car dealership remotes) go down the drain with any new format change.
Plus, great graphics and art that meant a lot to many people were chucked into the nearest dumpster. I just worked up our first entry in the Radio Graveyard...some
excellent old art from Y107, which was a kick-ass fun CHR station in Nashville in the 80s and early 90s. Sadly killed by the corporate suits.
